Applying to universities in the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, Asia or Africa? Consider using Meto.
Meto is an online “meeting place” where universities go to connect with students. Meto is a not-for-profit organization that reverses the university-search process for students. Here’s how it works:
Spend 10 minutes creating a Meto profile. This is free: https://app.meto-intl.org/signup
Make sure your profile is complete and accurate!
Meto shares your profile with universities around the world.
When a university is interested in your profile, a representative from the admissions team will personally reach out and invite you to apply. Often, this will be the person who makes a decision on your application.
If you’re not interested in a university that reaches out via Meto, feel free to ignore it. If you are interested, you can begin a conversation with the admissions officer and submit your application.
It’s that simple! Click here to create your profile and get started with Meto.
FAQ
Does Meto work? Yes! Over the last two years, Meto has helped place students at Vanderbilt, Boston University, UBC, McGill, University of Alberta, McMaster, Erasmus University Rotterdam, University of San Francisco, HKUST, IE University in Spain, Michigan State University, and many more.
What institutions does Meto work with? Meto doesn’t publish its full university list for students, but the list features many top global universities. Oftentimes students will hear from a university on their “reach” list through Meto, apply to the university, and enroll in the university. In other cases, Meto may introduce you to a university you weren’t previously considering but is actually a perfect fit.
